SOD OR SEED?

Our customers often ask if they should pay for sod or plant grass seed.

We ALWAYS recommend sod. Per foot, the cost is comparable with the work and materials required to grow grass from seed. Once your sod is installed, all you need to do is water it - instant beauty and sturdy in 2-3 weeks.

With grass seed, you need to worry about maintaining moisture with straw on top, and any strong wind or rain will wash away all your hard work and money. Grass grown from seed will be spotty until it grows in and results are not guaranteed.
